94年リリース、フロント・ページ唯一のアルバム。
ニュー・ジャック・スウィング(1)からスタートしますが、今こうやって聴くと、94年としてはそろそろ時代遅れになりつつあるサウンドだったかなという気もします。
(2)も同系統のサウンドですが、ミディアムなら(4)がいい。
そしてスタイリスティックスの傑作を90年風にカヴァーした(6)が気持ちいい。
スロウはファルセットが泣き叫ぶ(7)がサイコー。
(8)以降はテンポをどんどん上げていって最後までアッパーな作品で通しますが、とにかくコーラス・グループのアルバムとして非常にマジメに作られており、破綻がないのは立派。
この年絶頂期を迎えたコーラス・グループ・ブームの最終組と言えるでしょう。
95年以降こういうサウンドは潮が引くようになくなっていきます。
