ウィッスル92年の作品。~
なんか昔はラップ・グループらしかったですが、ボーイズIIメンあたりの成功に色気づいたのかコーラス・グループに宗旨替えのよくわからん経歴をもってるみたいです。~
90年のアルバム「Always And Forever」は個人的にはなんかイマイチでしたが、これはよかった！~
10年遅れの邂逅というか。~
なんつっても(2)のみごとなまでのニュー・ジャック・スウィングのこなれっぷりが泣かせます。~
嗚呼、あの感動が甦る（笑）。~
スロウはファルセットとバリトンが交差するコーラス・グループならではのテクニックを駆使したべッタベタの(5)が一番イイです。~
スロウにおいては前作のヒートウェイヴのカヴァーも良かったですが、表現力という点ではこのアルバムの方がいいんじゃないかな。~
で、アップはこっちの方が断然上で、(4)(9)もイケイケ。~
まあニュー・ジャック・スウィングの時流に乗った二流グループの域を出てないといわれればそれまでですが、これはこれで味のうち。~
ひさしぶりにシンプル・プレジャーとかリフとか聴きたくなってきました。
